South Venice is known for its optional HOA which includes the FERRY traversing across the intercoastal waterway every half hour delivering local residents to a semi private beach. There is also a boat launch with an optional key and plenty of places to drop the kayaks in and explore the beautiful Mangrove "paths" on the way out to Lemon Bay And everybody loves Venice's historic downtown with its eateries, bars, boutiques and assorted shops and entertainment just up the Tamiami Trail.
